Acceptance of ETAS flight profile analysis tool by DFS completed

October 2016 | Software

After 8 months of customer adaptation work, the ETAS 2.0 version has now been handed over to DFS for operational use. From now on, more than 10,000 flights per day will be analysed with ETAS for their fuel consumption. By the end of the year, additional functions will have been added to allow the determination of further emissions for specific flights. The LIZ division of DFS together with the Airline Group around the working group "Optimised Flying" is looking forward to the data that will be generated with ETAS from now on.
