Presentation of the results of generalised safety assessments for airports in the german airport association (ADV) with regard to recognised deviations between NfL and EASA specifications in the BMVI.

On behalf of the airport association ADV, GfL carried out assessments of the flight operational safety for specific deviations between the national NfL specifications and the European guidelines according to EASA CS-ADR-DSN (see news entry April 2016). In September, the results obtained were handed over to the ADV in an analysis comprising more than 120 pages. They were presented on 6 October 2016 by GfL to the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), Airports Division (LF-15) in Berlin and discussed with the responsible state representatives.
