The capacity of the airport consists of the capacity of the individual functional areas land side, terminal, apron, tarmac and approach/departure procedures.
GfL offers you the determination of the technical and practically usable capacity for any area. As these capacities do not meet any legal standard, we also advise you in the area of the selection of appropriate boundary conditions (acceptable waiting times or service levels) for the determination of capacity.
We also use typical simulation software for capacity analyses to optimise traffic flow and identify bottlenecks.
In addition to capacity analyses, GfL also offers the preparation of traffic forecasts. Here we mainly use methods of trend analysis, which are also specifically used for traffic development in general aviation.
