Trial decision of official planning approval Munich Airport 3rd runway terminated

The government of Upper Bavaria notified the decision of the official planning approval re-garding the application for the planning approval for the building of a 3rd runway at Munich airport to FMG on 26.07.2011. The expansion of the airport was stopped through a referendum for the time being on 17.06.2012. Intermediate the decision itself was complained by individual persons and the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union Germany (NABU) and thereby filed a lawsuit against the Land of Bavaria. The responsible authority for this trial is the administrative court of Bavaria (BayVGH). Regarding this GfL is accountable concerning aspects of runway length and safety and is going to accompany FMG as joined party at the trial as from March 2013.
