Saxon authorities implement the Airport Compliance Monitor (ACM) from GfL
July 2025 | Software
The Saxon Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development (SMIL) has decided to use the
Airport Compliance Monitor (ACM) for authorities for their oversight over
Dresden and
Leipzig/Halle airports even more efficiently, legally compliant and in accordance with the latest EU/EASA regulations.
The ACM provides SMIL with a powerful tool for implementing the European requirements in accordance with
Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 and
Regulation (EU) No. 139/2014. The software supports the authority in
auditing, change management and continuous monitoring of the airport infrastructure and organization - transparently, comprehensibly and revision-proof.
Kai Glatter, Director of Section 65 - Air and Maritime Traffic at SMIL, states:
"GfL's Airport Compliance Monitor (ACM) for authorities has been in operational use at our institution since the beginning of the year. The software significantly increases efficiency here. By streamlining the workflow with this tool, we were able to compensate for the existing staff shortage."
With this decision, SMIL is sending a strong signal for
efficient digital administrative modernization and
future-oriented airport oversight in Saxony.
