Airbus requests update of the obstacle assessment area around Hamburg Finkenwerder airport

As our long-standing customer Airbus has commissioned GfL to update the obstacle detection area for the Airfield Hamburg Finkenwerder. The obstacle detection area, which is based on the NfL area system, has two special areas in the northeast and northwest. Due to the historical structural development of the runway system and the associated reorientation of the area elements the obstacle detection area has to be updated. The obstacle detection area will then also be available in the geoportal of the City of Hamburg.
