Flight operations infrastructure analysis and safety assessment for Hamburg Airport

With a view to securing Hamburg Airport as a future location, the operating company Flughafen Hamburg GmbH (FHG) is planning to adapt the airside and landside infrastructure of the airport to future flight operations requirements and to develop it accordingly. In the course of these adaptation/development actions, the current focus is on the future runway lengths of both runways (RWY) 05/23 and 15/33 as well as the dimensioning of the safety strips surrounding the RWY. GfL contributes its extensive know-how in the implementation of flight performance calculations according to IR OPS as well as safety assessments according to EASA CS ADR DSN to this project. Results will be available in autumn 2017.
