Safety assessment for island Foehr

The island Foehr belongs to the North Frisian Islands and to the district of North Frisia in federal state Schleswig-Holstein. Foehr is the largest and the most populated German island without a link to the mainland. In this context GfL has been awarded to determine external risks induced by flight operations and their impacts on people on the island. The assessment is focused on the operation of a go-kart track close to the Wyk airport located on the island’s southeastern part.
