Strategic Cooperation with FCS Flight Calibration Services GmbH in the field of signature technical analyses regarding radar and ILS compatibility concluded

The issues of airport expert planning are increasingly merging with the challenges to prove compatibility of planned buildings with radar and navigation systems used at airports. According to LuftVG national regulation, this compatibility shall be analysed and proved as part of the radar signature technical analysis. To evaluate possible disruption potentials, detailled knowledge of aviation and its methods as well as expertise on how air traffic control facilites are run is required.In order to position the knowledge of both specialty fields in the market and to carry out investigations from a single source, GfL entered into a long term cooperation with FCS Flight Calibration Services GmbH (www.fcs.aero) in Braunschweig. Both companies have been successful in their domain in the aviation business for decades. Among the shareholders of FCS is DFS – Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH.
