GfL concludes safety assessment for City Airport Mannheim

GfL delivered the safety assessment for City Airport Mannheim in dialogue with the aerodrome operator to regional council in Karlsruhe as the competent authority. The reason has been and remains non-compliant runway end safety areas (RESA). Thus the safety assessment leads to specific safety recommendations at the airport ensuring safe flight operations in spite of incompatible infrastructure as per ICAO/EASA requirements.
