Preliminary examination of obstacle and radar compatibility with three buildings at

As part of a preliminary examination and on behalf of BHT Baugrund Hessen Thüringen GfL examines in cooperation with Flight Calibration Services (FCS) GmbH (www.flightcalibration.de) (whether the construction of three new buildings at "Sommerhoffpark" violates the obstacle clearance surfaces of the runways at Frankfurt/Main Airport. Moreover, it was examined whether interferences with radio navigational aids and radar equipment are expectable. The nearby helipad of University Hospital Frankfurt was also taken into consideration.
The results were handed over to the customer allowing the promising continuation of this project.
