Within the area of air traffic control and risk analyses the GfL has an approved, quality-assured calculation methodology determining the external risk. The calculation methodology is requested as a central instrument by approving authorities in the inland and abroad for evaluating environmental compatibility, regional planning and authorisation of new construction and extension projects.
The GfL faced the challenge to develop software for this calculation methodology that is clearly arranged and easy to handle. The version 1.0 of External Risk Calculator is now finished. For more information please see here.
