Continuing the exploration of building protection in Finkenwerder for Airbus Operations Germany

In July 2011 GfL received the assignment to continue the review of the possibility to build a building protection (BSB) at Finkenwerder airport. The reasons for that are the close development on the other bank of the Elbe as well as the spatial proximity of Hamburg Fuhlsbuttel airport. The BSB is to increase the flight operational safety at the airport for the long term by reliable obstacle detection.
