Fraport AG expands safety assessment of RWY holding positions at Frankfurt/Main airport

At the beginning of this year, Fraport AG commissioned the continuation of the safety assessment of non-compliant RWY holding positions according to ICAO (see here). The aim of this update is to examine and evaluate newly created RWY holding points that were not yet part of the original report from 2014 (see here). In addition, the obstacle investigations are to be applied again to the RWY holding points already examined in 2014, but now on the basis of current aircraft types (e.g. Airbus A350-1000, Boeing B787-9, Boeing 777X etc.).
