GfL know-how on board Boeings "ecoDemonstrator" flight test program

A new milestone has now been reached in the development of innovative flight planning software (enhancedEFB, see News) and the implementation of fuel consumption analyses using our ETAS software: During the test flights of the manufacturer Boeing within the so-called ecoDemonstrator Program, which will take place this year, a new algorithm for trajectory optimization on board a B777, developed by the consortium consisting of GfL, TU Dresden and Jeppesen, will be tested for the first time - among other technologies and systems. The overriding goal of the Boeing program is to test innovations to improve flight safety, sustainability and passenger comfort.
