Receipt of the IFR – operational approval at the helicopter- special airfield Donauworth

In March 2011 the GfL received the task from Eurocopter Germany to perform a preliminary investigation of the further ability to approve the IFR RNAV landing procedure at the helicopter-special airfield Donauworth. The airfield which is close to Augsburg and Nuremberg has got a central meaning for the certification and the later client´s taking over of its civil (e.g. EC 135) and military helicopters (e.g. Tiger). The technical advisory board of the GfL is involved in this project.
