SMS Tools at Dresden and Leipzig/Halle Airports Receive 2015 Upgrade

Our SMS tool has been in operation at Leipzig and Dresden Airports since 2006. Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG has now decided to upgrade the system to version 4.0 at both airports in order to achieve considerable synergy effects throughout the group, as this version enables the standardisation of many processes. The upgrade includes additional functionalities, features and simplified operation so that more tasks within the system can be standardised and automated. The procedures will also support the efficient certification of airport facilities according to EASA CS-ADR-DSN et al. Finally, the upgrade will enable the software to meet the latest safety standards to ensure safe and compatible operation for all users.
