GfL finalises quality assurance of safety assessment concerning independent parallel departures at future BER Airport

On behalf of FBB GfL was contracted to supervise a safety assessment concerning independent departures on the parallel runways 07 at Berlin Brandenburg Airport. On the latest meeting of the airport’s aircraft noise committee the results of this quality assurance has been presented and handed over to DFS on 06th July 2015. For the first time in Germany a safety assessment for flight procedures has been conducted on behalf of the airport operator. This assessment also aimed on possible noise abatement measures. Parallel running departure routes had been a part of the plan approval procedure for BER.
