Airport Conformance Monitor

With the entry into force of the Certification Specifications (CS) and Guidance Material (GM) for Aerodromes Design EASA CS-ADR-DSN by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on 6 March 2014, a uniform European directive based on ICAO Annex 14 was implemented. On the basis of Regulation (EU) 139/2014, regulations are available which provide common standards for the planning, operation and maintenance of safe airports. GfL has developed the Airport Conformance Monitor (ACM), current version 1.5, for the certification process and ongoing conformance monitoring in accordance with EASA CS-ADR-DSN. The ACM provides extensive functionalities for the administration of the certification process and monitoring. In addition to complex document management for archiving all processes, this also includes a uniform conformance monitoring.

Functionalities

  • Implementation of the EASA documentation as a tree structure, which displays the certification process including the certification status in a structured manner using traffic light logic
  • Implementation of all certification elements on a structured data sheet incl. print function
  • Comprehensive management of the documents required for certification with version history and rights management
  • Uniform compliance monitoring with structured cluster and planning functions
  • Clearly arranged start page (dashboard) with compressed, focused information
  • Automated creation of an EASA Compliance Report

Technical requirements

  • Web-based (PHP) browser application that is installed on a web server in the intranet or a defined network area of the client
  • Mobile device support
  • No additional license costs: The software is based on open source technologies (Apache etc.), which are free of charge
  • Client Requirements: The user only needs a web browser (incl. Javascript) to use the software

Advantages of the Airport Conformance Monitor:

  • Easy to use interface
  • Attractive low-cost multi-user license
  • Dashboard for user-specific overview of all relevant content
  • Uniform compliance monitoring with structured cluster and planning functions
  • Central document management of all documents required for certification
  • Easy access to the certification elements via the tree structure or filter function
  • Integration of external users (e.g. regulatory authorities) via secure access
